My first exposure to Arthur Doyle occured when I was about 18 or 19.
I was in New York and I picked up his Audible HIss 7", the one where he's
lying on the pavement. I wrote to him an invited him to Toronto to play a
show that would be a release show for a CD which he produced for my
label Ain Soph. The CD was called 'Do The Breakdown" and will be reissued on my new imprint Medusa. He was a perfect gentleman the whole trip, stayed with me, and had cool free-jazz stories from the old days to share.
