Assalamu alaykum

for the brothers who ask, this is nakshabandi dhikr (a Tariqa in tasawwuf)

there are a few others, just as there are several law schools on how to perform prayers and wudhu is there also here how to clean the internal. It is highly recommended as it helps to destroy the "nafs" (the ego). Numerous verses of the Quranal hakim where Allah (sub) commands to clean the internal.

I think this is the tariqa of Abu Bakr siddiq (ra)
