Also, L has two ways of saying it, depending on the position of the letter (is it before a vowel, or a consonant?) L before a vowel, typically uses the method this video discribes. The front of the tongue is raised to touch the roof of the mouth, however, usually before a consonant, most of the tongue touches the roof of the mouth, not just the front tip. ;)

This video is not correct. "R" requires the BACK of the tongue to rise, not the FRONT. Say "AH", or even あ。　R is an inverted version of A. It's the opposite. Instead of lowering the back of your tongue, raise it, and you have an ERRRRRRGLGLGLGL

@kulokaba これは覚えないといけないです。でもネイティブスピーカーに教え­て貰うとイチローさんみたいなスウィングを見せて「さあ、やって­みて下さい」、であっちはそれが出来ない理由が分からない、なん­どもイチローさんをやって「さあやって」で無駄な授業料が注ぎ込­まれるというわけです。確かに無駄な時間になってしまいます。苦­労して英語を習得した非常にうまい日本人から習うのが良いでしょ­う。
