The Pursuit of Happyness is a 2006 American biographical drama film directed by Gabriele Muccino and based on the life of Chris Gardner. The film stars Will Smith as Gardner, an on-and-off-homeless salesman-turned stockbroker.
*Speech*
Chris (Will Smith) is playing Basketball with his son and after hearing that his son wants to go pro one day he gives him some inspirational words. He tells his son to never give up and ignore everyone who tries to put you and your hopes down. The thing which makes this speech so emotional is that he is not just talking to his son, but deep down he is talking to himself.
