Saaghi = someone who pours wine into cups, some kind of mythical figure it seems, below translated to "cupbearer"

منم همون هوادار قدیمی
and I am the same old supporter

هنوز همون خراباتی و مستم
I am still the same tippler and drunk

ولی بی تو سبوی می شکستم
but without you I broke the pot of wine

همه تشنه لبیم ساقی کجایی
we are all thirsty, cupbearer where are you?

گرفتار شبیم ساقی کجایی
we are prisoners of the night, cupbearer where are you?

اگه سبو شکست عمر تو باقی
if the pot broke, may you live many years

که اعتبار می تویی تو ساقی
that you are the credit of wine, you cupbearer

اگه میکده امروز شده خونه تزوير
if today the tavern has become a house of hypocrisy

وای شده خونه تزوير
oh has become a house of hypocrisy

تو محراب دل ما
you the sanctuary of our hearts

تويی تو مرشد و پیر
is you, you spiritual guide and saint

همه به جرم مستی سر دار ملامت
everybody on the gallows of blame because of the crime of drunkenness

میمیريم و میخونیم سر ساقی سلامت
we sing and die, health to the cupbearer


یه روزی گله کردم من از عالم مستی
one day I complained from a drunk world

تو هم به دل گرفتی دل ما رو شکستی
and you became upset, you broke my heart

من از مستی نوشتم ولی قلب تو رنجید
I wrote from drunkenness but your heart took offence

تو قهر کردی و قهرت مصیبت شد و بارید
you broke up and your break became a disaster and it rained

پشیمونم و خستم اگه عهدی شکستم
I am remorseful and tired, if I broke a promise

آخه مست تو هستم اگه مجرم و مستم
but I am drunk of you, if I am guilty and drunk

همه به جرم مستی سر دار ملامت
everybody on the gallows of blame because of the crime of drunkenness

میمیریم و میخونیم سر ساقی سلامت
we sing and die, health to the cupbearer


میگن مستی گناه به انگشت ملامت
they say drunkenness is a sin, with a blaming finger

باید مستها رو حد زد به شلاق ندامت
the drunks must be punished by lash, with a whip of remorse

سبوی ما شکسته در میکده بسته
our pot has broken, the door of the tavern has closed

امید همه ی ما به همت تو بسته
all our hope is bound to your ambition

به همت تو ساقی تو که گره گشایی
to your ambition, cupbearer, you who are a reliever

تو که ذات وفایی همیشه یار مایی
you who are a loyal being, you are always our friend
