@commanderkruge LoL, I tell you after wearing the helmet on my birthday , I can understand why Vader was so cranky pissing down his leg all the time because he couldn't find his fly hole due to his "lack of vision", I would want to strangle somebody using the force ;-)

@commanderkruge And I got a good giggle out of it too, because at the end of side 2 of the tape cassette I instead recorded some other sounds - a pervert breathing on the telephone, gargling, silly stuff like that... :)

Heheh - my little Brother has got that Helmet version as well - bought it back when the remakes came around. He put together a full suit as well, quite nice actually - and I sampled Darth Vader's breathing on my Amiga, then looped it and recorded it onto both sides of a cassette. That went into his walkman which went to his belt, on his backside, under the cape - as well as a speaker... The effect was quite impressive. Especially for the days. XD

Lol. That was good geeky stuff.
I actually had one of those Vader Helmets 20 yrs ago. I belonged to a scifi club at the time and got a good deal on it from a friend. So I had a cape made and did a full Vader costume for halloween that year. It was awesome. (Though I think you were right. I don't remember the nose being that silver.)
I loved the apps. What was the name of that Tricoder app? Any idea if it is available for iPod?

@CanadienAtheist It was just called next generation tricorder, it is available on the I-phone my friend has it on his ;-)
