Nice, I was just up there in late December, hiked Davenport Gap over to Hot Springs. It definitely makes for slow going, but it's one hell of an adventure. Makes you think twice about making an investment in snowshoes, even here in the south. I just finished another section past Hot Springs and I'm happy to say I didn't have to suffer through that again. Thanks for sharing guys. Happy Hiking/Postholing!

Good grief. These same conditions happened to me during january (97), in the park on my thru hike. This is harder than it looks to hike through eh? Nice video.
