You don't have to take off the blue cap at the end of the tubing to prime the line (the fluid still dribbles through). Some say its better to leave it on until you are going to connect it to the patient because it maintains sterility.
you need to be a online instructor for a lot of nursing students. you are good, and i learn more from you then my clinical instructors in class at the nursing college i go to
