http://www.LeatherCraftSecrets.com/vids There are some basic tools needed for every project. Once you have done your initial research, you will see which tools are necessary and which ones are specialty tools. If you decide you want to focus on a specific leather craft area, you can decide if you need any specialty tools at that point. You will find it very helpful to go through basic training first, make a few simple projects and then decide what you want to focus on.
If you decide to make your projects from scratch, thats when you will need to make a decision on buying specific tools. If you decide to start with pre-made projects all the tools needed are usually included in the kit you buy from the hobby shop.
The most reliable places to buy leather craft tools is in a retail outlet. If there are any defects in the tools, you can take them back. Here are a couple places we recommend
Tandy Leather or Nova Leather.
In both cases you can order online from their website. This is very handy if you are unable to find a local hobby shop where you live. A started kit of tools can be sent by mail for a small shipping charge.
Another place to look for leather craft tools is on e-bay. You can do a search for leather craft tools or leather craft tool kit on e-bay and you may find a good deal. The only caution we have about E-bay is to look at the comments people leave for the vendor to see if there are a lot of negative comments, or if the vendor is new. If you are concerned about quality, or ability to get a refund then we suggest you go for a new set. Sometimes people sell stuff on e-bay because it has been used up, or its defective. If you email the vendor and ask, you may find they have lost interest in the hobby and are just selling it to clean out the attic. When starting out the best suggestion we can give you is to buy the cheaper tools to find out what you will use the most, and tghen upgrade to a higher quality later. You will find some tools only get used on occasion, so a lower quality will last for a long time in that case.
Another great place to get quality handmade leather tools is from a small business in Montana called Ron's tools. They just posted a website ronstools[dot]com They have great products and stand behind their work.

Some suggestions from a beginner in leather craft but a professional in video production. Please slow way down and take a breath between sentences. Do away with the Ken Burns effect with the image panning in and out, a simple fade to next photo is all that's needed. Get rid of that loud annoying music at the end. Making your videos more enjoyable will bring us back to hear more. Thanks
