These two robots move Drosophila fruit flies from old food to new food. The robots are working in the Janelia Farm Research Campus, Ashburn, Virginia. Sorry, crappy audio :-)
Keller Swartwood Engineering Inc. in Portland Oregon designed and built these robots. (2) robots are currnetly being used at Harvard Medical School, and (2) are currently being used at Howard Hughes Medical Institute. These robots have been in use for over 6 years now running every day. These robots run unattended. When the robot finishes it's task, it emails the operator and notifies them to unload and load new trays.
Each robot transfers 100 vials an hour

This sucks! To deal with fruit flies on the scale that they are actually required this robot would be there for years just doing a few tests
