  • Seriously, this great guy knows the game better than any other broadcaster in the NBA. He is a true joy to listen to. I've learned a lot from him and I hope he'll keep his job for another 10 years.

  • What ever happened to Roy Firestone?

  • @mightyfedepxress 100% agreed!!!!!

  • Hubie brown should be hired to do the "most interesting man in the world" commercial. EPIC WIN.

  • I love this man! I could listen to him talk about basketball and life forever. Seeing him speak at a coaching clinic was one of the best experiences of my life.

  • My favorite basketball mind on the planet. If i could be coached by anyone of my choosing, im picking Hubie

  • @ragtime4 Who said anything about Brian Cardinal? I didn't, so why did you direct your comment at me? For what it's worth I agree that Cardinal was overpaid. And I like Travis Outlaw or Bo Outlaw or the Outlaw Josey Wales if the price is right.

  • I've noticed over the past couple years that Hubie Brown has nothing but positive things to say about Stromile Swift, while Mike Fratello bashes him.

  • @jknowsbb Brian Cardinal got paid waaaay too much. Totally disrupted the team because his contract was equal to or greater than too many of the Griz key players. If they couldn't have gotten him cheaper, they would have been better off with Outlaw.

  • The greatest day in Memphis Grizzlies history was when they hired Hubie Brown as coach. And the worst was when he resigned, unwilling to tolerate the punk attitude of Jason Williams, Bonzi Wells, etc. Grizzlies ownership sucks now, but they got one thing right back then, and while it lasted it was a beautiful thing. Hubie is the best there is at breaking down the game. Were he still coach, the Grizzlies would be in the playoffs this year instead of preparing to squander another lottery pick.
