Friday morning, can't remember last night.
Did we make up?, or did we fight?
I never know, if I got it right, pulling blood from this stone....
Does your Heart ever loose you?
Do your dreams ever fade?
I step back, to achieve the perspective;
Looking down at this empty grave...
And I don't know what you're still wanting,
You still don't know, what I still need.
Is there still Love, or have we forgotten;
The simplicities....
And have we become Detached forever?
Maybe someday we will re-adhere...
But crying on a darkened shoulder,
Won't bring you back; no more....
And I grow tired of all these uncommon "niceties",
You still hold my hand, while you grit your teeth...
Maybe I should just roll over and go back to sleep,
Then when I awake, this will all have been a dream....(all a dream...)
