Blind Willie McTell performed by Mick Taylor on 17-11-2006 in Ochten, The Netherlands. Please note: I believe it's soundrec. from the back of the hall, combined with frontstage videoshots... I got it this way, only this number actually...

I dont know your musical preference but ive listened to it all for more than 40 years now and Taylor is the best guitar player I have ever heard!!!!!!!!!!! I think his talent made this band great. I mean great. Sorry if I offend you. Kieth is good too, Taylor is a much better musician.

Hey there people (some of you),
this is not about 12Trucks, 15 Sound/Stage engineers, V.I.P.Lounge, Brass-section , 6 background-Voices, two pianos and so on...........this is about MICK TAYLOR - playing his guitar right in front of you

It's a pitty that Mick left such a great guitarist in poverty!

I dont think MT is pathetic: he has more talent in his little fingers than most people even dream about. Think he lost his way is all. He could have been a contender... The studio verison of this is stunning.. Ok he's not aged well but he still looks a lot better than Keith Richards who does a great impression of a drunken zombie ...

What are you talking about? Search for "mick taylor red house" from Stranger in this Town and tell me if you still think he is "close to pathetic".
