I sure miss playing with The Rolling Stones !
A 'calm' and yet strong part of the band's history !
His initals are my shoulder !

I'm pleased to see that Mick Taylor has aged so well. Better than I have, ferinstance.

@Lafforte What are you talking about? Search for "mick taylor red house" from Stranger in this Town and tell me if you still think he is "close to pathetic".

blind willie is my favorite bluesman of all time even more so than robert johnson or skip james they all paved the way for the best music ever mick does a great job dont understand those who are dissing him

Gawd, he's bad. I saw him with Mayall in the mid-80s and he had such gorgeous tone, although he was a jerk and played LOUDLY right over Mayall... which in a way was not that bad because Mayall is not a good singer. But it was still nasty stage "manners" to drown out the boss. But he's close to pathetic now.

I saw him maybe 10 years ago. He never switched guitars or tuning. He played with a slide a third of the time, without a slide a third of the time, and spent the other third looking through his pockets or the slide . He was great.

I need some explaination, Does he (fcking play) with a bottleneck on a guitar in standart tunning or Chordtunning ( like a G,E or whatever) ??

Like this a lot! Blind Willie was a phenom, and it was great that Dylan wrote a song about him. And MT's interpretation is great. How can anybody not appreciate this, I have no idea. Thanks for posting it!

@camulsmoke Yeah, come on man, this is the stuff ! Great voice, sweet guitar, nice approach. What's the matter with you?

I dont know your musical preference but ive listened to it all for more than 40 years now and Taylor is the best guitar player I have ever heard!!!!!!!!!!! I think his talent made this band great. I mean great. Sorry if I offend you. Kieth is good too, Taylor is a much better musician.

Hey there people (some of you),
this is not about 12Trucks, 15 Sound/Stage engineers, V.I.P.Lounge, Brass-section , 6 background-Voices, two pianos and so on...........this is about MICK TAYLOR - playing his guitar right in front of you
