  • @funkybe could you put a low F# under the B? and make F# B E A D G C???

  • Some damn fine playin'!

  • Ibanez is making a Bass/Guitar Hybrid for a 7-string, it has bass pickups and guitar pickups, so either way you can do both, but I'm looking for more of a guitar/bass combination instrument that has bass strings and guitar strings all in one like the Santucci Treble Bass Guitar

  • Dude, check out some of the ESP Ltd models.

They make some really nice 5 and 6 string models. Really affordable and the quality you get is VERY good for your money.

  • well ive noticed when playing 6 strings that its really not that much of a stretch for me, ive played up to 8 strings now and 7 is a big difference but i have big hands so 6 strings is actually pretty comfortable id like to go with a 6 but with prices and all that i think ill end up with a 5

  • go 5 string, dont do anything tht ur not prepared for, go to a shop and pick up a few 5 or even 6 strings,
