Wow, a synthetic turbo. Instead of making fake boost, just have all the valves open for maximum fuel efficiency.

This (DOHC) VTEC system makes both valves open fully at high rpm, and one full one 'half' at lower RPM.

so thats pretty much what vtec is? makes the 2 things synchronized

This is DOHC VTEC. The operation is the same on both intake and exhaust cams. SOHC VTEC looks much different.
