Monster Hunter Freedom - Four Horns 1/2

Due to the video being over 10 minute length, I have split it into two parts. This being part 1 out of 2

Well well, 4 Horns.. to take on 2 Diablos? Doesn't exactly sound fun now does it? Well it's not..

I could understand why this quest may give some people trouble, I mean fighting Diablos? Honestly, who enjoys doing that? Not me anyways.

I strongly suggest using Poison Battlaxe for this quest, if you've not made that weapon then what is wrong with you? It's so simple to make and it's extremely useful throughout the beginning stages of Monster Hunter Freedom.

Armor:

Rathian Helm
Rathalos Mail
Rathian Vambraces
Velociprey Tasset
Rathalos Greaves

Skills:

Attack Up (Medium)
Health +10
Provocation

Items suggested:

5x Flash Bombs, 3 Pyschoserums, 10x Sonic Bombs, and maybe 1x Cool Drink (just in case)

Let's tear this quest apart!

Grab whatever you need from the Supply Box and get ready for an intense quest!

You'll want to take out the Diablos in area 10 first, if you were to leave him alone and target him the desert, there is a chance that he may decide to show up, which means fighting two of them at the same time, and I guarantee that is NOT something you want to do.

You'll always want to target one leg and stick to it. That way you increase the odds of him tripping, making the tail easier to remove.

I made a few mistakes, be sure to take advantage of that ledge to allow the Diablos to get his horns stuck in there. That way you can get some free hits.

Be sure to keep an eye on his movement speed, that way you don't go wasting any Sonic Bombs like I did.

Diablos has the most ridiculously stupid hit boxes ever, which they've not fixed yet. You somehow get struck with a tail swing that doesn't even touch you. I really do hope they fix that one day.

Anyways, once you've killed the first one, be sure to head back to camp and heal any damage you took from the first Diablos by sleeping in the tent and make your way to middle of area 2, and take a Psychoserum if you've not already spotted the Diablos.

Be sure to Paintball the second one, as predicting his travel patterns in the desert areas is a bit more complicated than the Diablos you face in area 10.

Anyways, you'll want to continue the same attack pattern aiming for a single leg and continue doing so.

@darkmentor12 He only records his fights, not him farming the hell out of various wyverns for armor and weapons.

It took me almost a year to pass 4H horns. And don't trying tricking the gem by thinking you can kill the desert blow first. No fucking way. The other blos enters the desert and then you have problems. serious problems.

@kenshinscott I just became G-Ranked (HR 7) a couple days ago. For the Felyne elder I'm only at the first level of quests.

@redtrolly thanks the red one is weak to water i hate fighting it becouse it attacks r deadly i use to always gun it down but it got a new attack making it nose long like a wip and gunner armor weak so i die but yeah it does seem to have alot of hp i beat the felyne elder one with my long sword but skiped the red one lol how far are u in the game? am hr 2 stuck on ugent tigerx jjust to hard :( and am at 9* for felyne elder how about u man? :) and yeah lol am seriouly addicted to this game :P

@kenshinscott Yeah, Khezu has tons of HP it seems... and it can't see you so you can't do that dive when you run away in fear that helps dodge attacks. Fire is its bane though. Cept for the red Khezu, that one is weak to something I forget and highly resistant to fire

@redtrolly I know but when i used them he keep digging under them aand wont charge at me or digs to a next area of the map making my shock traps useless but I beat this quest and found out the rathelos soul armor set give u ear plugs thanks I got it am now stuck on Felyne Elder Quest were i have to fight the khezu damn i hate fighting that monster the only monster in the game I hate to fight lol :P
