Kiss Them for Me was also the name of a 20th Century Fox motion picture made in 1957 starring Mansfield and Cary Grant.

She's still goth. She's subverting the role of princess, desperate housewife. She does such a good job at it that it confuses the mind of the viewer (a truly great effort). Kind of like when Aretha sings "Sock it to me" on Respect. My mind only works one way, either I sock it to you, of I give you respect, but don't ask me to do both because it hurts my brain.
