@ForImperium being communist is not good reason to kill and tortured someone, they even killed people who were on the right but wanted democracy, crazy dictartorships was the only plague at that time. Good leaders who are not from european heitage: Ghandi, Martin Luther king, Malcom x, they were fighting for the people not for personal power. being able to get to power and control people doesn`t make a good a leader, creating means that allow people to achieve happiness makes you a good leader.
In regards Stroessner & Pinochet, they killed Communists. Should they have perhaps let Communism; an ideology which was spreading across South America; causing vast socio and political instability remain? Most great leaders make tough decisions; removing corrupting forces stopped the spread communist provoked conflicts.
Heritage counts. Name me some great leaders; they are of European heritage. In fact I would say historically this is also observable; not just in South America.
@ForImperium Regarding the racist question I was only wondering. Well I don´t think that they were great leaders cos´ for instance Stroessner & Pinochet they killed and tortured their own people, Regarding perón I wouldn´t actually call him a bad man but for sure wasn´t a great leader he was only popular and he protected Nazis after WW2. and I don´t admire people on their heritage what matters is their actions and their thoughts. Don´t follow leaders watch the parking meters.
Racist? No; I love South Americans; I we merely stating what I have observed; that these leaders are of European heritage; or are completely European (ie Spainish).
Do you agree?. Stroessner, Perón, Pinochet etc are all examples which reinforce my statement. Name me some leaders whom you admire and I could still state the same; that they observe European heritage significantly.
The fact that you don't recognize their leadership qualities doesn't make my statement incorrect.
Fidel Castro is not white, he's actually a light mulatto, his father was a rich White Spaniard plantation owner and his mother was a mulatto servant. He is of perhaps significant European heritage, so he appears white and has white features; narrow nose, distinguished brow, fair skin, but he is not white per se.
Most South American leadership are white, or of significant white heritage, Stroessner, Perón, Pinochet etc. They were all great leaders also.
