Moiré Patterns - Moving Lines

This Moiré pattern video demonstrates three squares of horizontal lines at slightly different sizes. The middle square creates a Moiré pattern by moving up and down. The size of the Moiré pattern as well as its direction of movement depend on the relative size of the intersecting patters.

It is suggested to view the animation in HD and in full-screen mode, otherwise additional Moiré and antialias artifacts may appear.
