  • IF PAIN OCCURS (IN AREA OF CC) WHEN PRESSURE IS RELEASED (AWAY FROM CC) = BLUMBERG/REBOUND

IF PAIN IN RLQ OCCURS WHEN PRESSURE IS APPLIED TO L = ROVSING'S

  • @vinitb You`re right.

  • Blumberg - Rebound tenderness in acute appendicitis. but pain in RIF while applying pressure on the LIF is also observed in acute appendicitis.

  • This is Blumberg! Please rename it!

  • i don't think that's the examination for rovsing's sign

  • @xxx911xxxDNRxxx

I agree, it's not the Rovsing sign, but it isn't Blumberg either, Blumberg is done on the same side as the appendix.
