1. Dylan Ratigan inteviews Paul Levinson & Michael Wolff about Al Jazeera in USA

Dylan Ratigan talks to Michael Wolff and me about the prospects of Al Jazeera succeeding in the American market. We agree that human curiosity will at first certainly draw viewers. Wolff thinks Al Jazeera will go on to easy success. Although I think it would be useful for Americans to see Al Jazeera and its point of view, it will have a hard time attracting viewers and sponsors over the long run. It will need to shed its image - fairly or unfairly held - as just a place to see Osama Bin Laden videos. Part 1 of 2-part videoclip.

I didn't say it was a terrorist network - I said it was "associated, rightly or wrongly, with terrorism" - it's right there on the tape, really :-)

I enjoy Al Jazeera. I do have to go looking for it. Some of the Josh Rushing pieces are very good and any Youtube viewers should check them out. Do you have any more of those David Marash clips? There is something engaging about him but very few clips. He was on Colbert just as he joined Al Jazeera.

I doubt anyone that say it is a terrorist network has actually watched it; it denounces terrorism and opposesair strikes. In many ways it is like CNN, if you say that is a terrorist network I have no hope of convincing you anyway.
