@grekito I really do not appreciate you referring to Americans as "ignorant", as you are basically exercising the same exact judgement you perceive Americans do to your culture.Why do you think I viewed this video? Because I am curious & wanted to learn more about Syrian culture&perspective.I have learned that these women are fabulous and intelligent.You, however,...that is questionable.We are not all ignorant. @ofri75 Haha. Corruption is present in every country, every country has its problems. The President paved the way for democratic reforms in the country. Syria is now a multiparty state, Freedom of Demonstration is allowed (which most of the very few opposition demonstrations refuse to get a license for their demonstration), freedom of press is guaranteed, and a new constitution is being drafted. Any freedom beyond this is anarchy. Syria will never make peace with Israel.

@ofri75 You are illiterate. The Golan Heights has been an integral part of Syria for hundreds of years! You obviously ignore the fact that Syria and its allies (even a militant faction as Hezbollah) can whup your asses anytime. Remember in 2000? Israel withdrew from South Lebanon. In 2006? Israel was defeated and its army was filled with cowardice so much so that once the Israelis started losing a few troops and tanks (Not to mention an Israeli naval ship which has not been counted)

@mazenfilth1 - Golan hights is part of Israel for 45 years now...it was part of Syria for only 20 yeas (between 1947 and 1967) and in any case it will always stay Israeli territory. Why shold Israel give it to Syria? it belongs now to Israel, and we took it when we won the war. Also, the Golan is very significant piece of land for Israel, and vast majority of Israelis would never agree to hand it to Syrians. If Syria wants peace it could have it with out the Golan.

PS - Assad will die soon!

@mazenfilth1- both Sharon and Netanyahu were nice leaders and elected in free, democratic election by majority of Israelis. Israel is the only country in the Middle East to fight terrroism, so your attempt to turn Israel to a terrorist is ridiculous. Syria is a radical country with a cruel violent totalitarian regime, that denies human rights, freedom, and supports terror organizations such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

PS - Jerusalem and Golan will always be part of Israel for ever! :)
