  • This is Australian news production, and they're very biased towards asians anyway. So take that into consideration. One death, in the US!!! Scare tactics.

  • @jasluvtian if you claim to provide a service then you should provide that service. there are no excuses whatsoever.

  • @HattieLovesCattie The electric filer should not be used on toes . Or at all . If you are shaving down a thick toenail , it can lead to further worst infections .

  • If truth shop is not sanitary

leave don't sit down and get anything done. If you walk to the restroom and it have shit all over and you still sit your ass down ,then cry about how dirty it is?? Beside American or australian can't do no nails. what wrong with electric files ?? what wrong with speed up? do you want download 1 song that take you 1hr or you want 30second?? Ask for you money back ,That is a dump ass thing I ever heard .Laws no money back on service and labor ,go back to school .

  • I go to either a Chinese salon or Vietnamese one. Both charge $27 for a basic pedicure and if you want the blade, its $3.Both salons do an excellent job.I love it that both have the electric filer as I have one very thick toenail.

  • Also, I wear a mask because of dust. I'm very sensitive to it, even when I file my own nails.

Don't make this a racist matter. It's the OWNERS fault on choosing the wrong kind of workers/making sure they're clean. Shops like these give ALL, not just American salons, a bad name. My recommendation on going to a new salon: get a polish change there first, look around, even ask the workers how they sanitize/disinfect, then further your services or not. And make sure everyone speaks English.

  • I am a Viet-American licensed nail tech. Ive worked in many different salons. I will tell ya, there are some dirty and unsanitary salons out there. That's why I have worked at so many until I found one where the OWNER actually kept up w/ regulations/hygiene, etc. I, myself is very cautious/clean (I disinfect my tools) because I wouldn't want my license to be taken away from me and to risk someone's life! Not all salons are bad, but it's pretty damn hard to find a good one.
