A poem; which i made a video for, I'm sorry if the video does not appeal to you.....But i took hours making it.

No copyright INTENDED!!!!!

This is to help the GCSE students doing english lit.

Click on the spotlights for extra info.

language used in poem:

subversion of traditional images of beauty- many of the lines sound like they're going to be traditional images of womens beauty. But shakespeare goes against the readers expectations.

critical language- he sounds pretty scathing about his mistress in the first part of the poem.

sonnet form- poem is written in traditional sonnet form.
