Before Game 6 Magic Johnson learned that Larry Bird had been named Rookie of the Year which wasnt surprising since the Celtics won 32 more games than they had the previous year. But when he was told Bird won the voting 63-3 he used it as motivation for the upcoming game. They want to see who the top rookie is? Well, watch what I do to the Sixers. Starting at center in place of the ailing KAJ (the league MVP) the rookie went on to have arguably the greatest performance in NBA history scoring 42 points and earning Finals MVP honors.

I think LeBron is phenomenal right now. Unreal, but all other decades before the 2000's are easily better to watch, I love the history. 1979-1998 especially. It will never be like this again!

Exactly. Whenever I try to correct Kobe fans about something they see my username and accuse me of being a "fake Laker fan". Nothing would make me happier than to say I watched the greatest Laker of all-time play his entire career live but he's just not on that level.

It's not close, never will be. All it takes is research. I love this game and it's LEGENDS and don't want people going underrated. I love the way I analyse things. Kobe has 5 rings .. Magic has 5 rings. It's all about what everyone does individually! Kobe is nowhere near the playoff perfoming great that Magic is, Magic should have 20 rings to show for how good he is in the playoffs .. but TEAMS win championships. I cannot fit everything about everyone on here, but you just gotta know your stuff!

Well Kobe is probably the greatest laker of all time but nobody passed the ball as stylishly as Magic did and he lead his team with his passion. Personally I like Magic more but Kobe has had a magnificent career, one of the best in history.
