Bridgestone S03-shod gay Civic vs Toyo T1S-shod turbo Miata at Streets of Willow Springs. The Civic wasn't using 2nd gear due to a crunching 2-3 full throttle redline upshift. 2nd gear was only used before the front straight, and the 2-3 upshift was done about 1500-2000rpm below the 7200rpm redline to prevent the tranny from grinding. If 2nd gear was available the Civic may have been faster than the Miata's driver. But it probably doesn't matter. According to evaluations by internet experts both the drivers and the cars suck. =)
