A Poem About A One Syllable Object

My blank is oh so useful, So pretty and so nice. I keep it in the freezer, Where it hides behinds the ice. I hold it to my face each night, And whisper to the air: Youll never know, my dearest blank, Just how much I care. We go for walks on Sundays, Through the park and down to the shore. Just me and my ol blank; How could I ever want more? One morning I rose from my bed, And went down to the kitchen. Oh! What a vicious thing to find! My poor ol blank was missing! I searched my house from roof to cellar, But my blank was nowhere near. At last as the sun began to set, I collapsed and shed a tear. Without my precious blank, I cried, Oh, what will I do now? Ill organize a search party! Ill find my blank, I vow! My friends and I all gathered near, And planned our careful search. No cave or cranny would go unchecked, No high-up sparrows perch. We looked and looked across the land. The days and nights passed by. One by one, they all gave up, But never once did I. When seven months had come and gone Since my blank had gone away, And my brain was straining hard to think Of places left to try, I heard a car pull up outside, And a knock on my front door. And when I went to answer it, There was my blank right on the floor! I smiled wide and picked it up. Such joy I never knew! Where had it gone? Who brought it back? I didnt have a clue. And now were reunited here, My lovely blank and I. I keep it in the freezer still, Behind the frozen pie.
