Wonderful to see Priscilla Dean too. A much underrated star these'a'days, she gave some superb performances straight and comedic in equal turn. Laurel & Hardy bounced off of her stoic beauty perfectly.

this is the first out of 10 films that lon chaney and tod browning collaborated on. even though lon chaney is 3rd in the cast, he is still noticeable when onscreen and makes the most of it.

I recently found a book that covers the films of Tod Browning. Being from his home town, I feel great pride. I also love Priscilla Dean. Not just a great actress but so sexy when she does that "I'm one tough broad" thing.

Thanks so much for posting. Tod Browning was such a talented and unique director and Chaney was absolutey phenominal in the movies he was in. Having them both together in not just this but a couple of other movies is just awesome.
