Tainted Perfection is about a girl named Aurora who meets an online stalker. She talks to him and befriends him because she is bullied constantly, trying to adhere to the "perfectionism" that is evident through her childhood and the most popular "Barbie" at school. Lonely, she agrees to meet with the stalker, but on her way she meets and befriends Carson, the boy who sees her as a lonely and confused girl. He tries to help her out, but the stalker still has a powerful pull on her and Aurora becomes even more confused, trying to figure out who she really is instead of the Barbie that she has wanted to become her entire life.
