We know that the owner is OBLIGATED legally to pay you the difference if you don't make at least minimum wage.
So you DO make minimum wage, in fact you make much more than that by spreading pathetic lies about the 2.13 /hr rate.

I don't think YOU realize that we don't fall for your 'servers just make 2.13 /hr'.
Everybody is entitled to minimum wage, INCLUDING servers. The only difference is, if the servers make the minimum wage through tips, they only get 2.13/hr.
If they FAIL to make atleast the minimum wage, then the RESTAURANT has to pay them the difference.
So GTFO while I continue to not pay tips.

@nathanielbaran Well then "as a waiter" you should be getting paid by your boss. I don't mean to sound offensive but if your working for someone who isn't paying you then I wouldn't think it's an official job. Relying on tips for your earnings is not part of any employment contract nor should it be. My advice: Just talk to your boss about your income, don't let him or her say otherwise. If all else fails just quit and find a new job, and btw tips are kind gestures nothing else.

@Jackw00pw00p2 as a waiter my boss doesnt pay me any money. The only money i get is from tips, so when you dont tip me its like saying "hey thanks for serving me and cleaning up after me! I feel like you should do it for free and that you dont deserve to be paid for it, have a nice day!" I give phenomenal service, I'm friendly, I have NEVER ONCE fucked with anyone's food. I DESERVE to be tipped because thats the only way I get paid. How would you like working your job and not getting paid?
