TRAN,zook is an awful coach,great GREAT recruiter though.I could name game after game in which this mans decision making cost them games.And don't give me this ''refused to play'' crap.Your team had a chance to join the sec in the early 90's,but punked out to join the mighty acc.And i wasn't calling you a scumbag,i was calling rix a scumbag for his classless antics in that '03 fiasco.

The Zook era at UF was underachieving and talented. Hence they beat highly finished ranked teams in Georgia in 02', LSU & Georgia 03' . It made you wonder how talented they were, partially responsible for the 2006 Florida Championship team imo.

no. back in the 60's the legislature said florida had to play fsu. so uf decided to make all the rules. for the first 6 years, you guys refused to play in tallahassee. and for the first 10, you guys got to pick the officials. it made it down right impossible for us to win, but face it, back then we sucked. in '66 we were winning, and the sec officials gave uf the game. at moore athletic center, there is a huge wall sized picture of the bad call that gave y'all the game.

i wish we had joined the sec. i was at fsu in 91 when we joined. i was mad. and didn't zook win the big 10 trophy last year or the year before. that and meyer won that championship in 06 with zook's team. i thought rix was a piece of crap the entire time he was at fsu. he couldn't learn the offense, was calling audibles as a 5th year senior. he would run around tlh parking in handicap spaces, and not expect tickets, because he was 'chris rix'. i'm glad he's gone.

also remember, for the first 10 years y'all got to pick the officials. y'all also refused to play in tallahassee for the first 6. and y'all only started playing us, because the legislature said y'all had to. and ask any nole fan about '66, when we were winning in the swamp and the officials gave you guys the game. i'm not saying what happened in '03 was right, only that the shoe was on the other foot. having the officials help either team, cheapens it.

i was actually glad zook got carried off the field in 2004. he was treated horribly by uf. zook is at illinois now, and doing a pretty good job. and read my post, i said rix was a BUM. and i dont' think christian ponder is much better. i love my noles, i graduated from fsu, i have to like them. but i do realize we are having a bit of a hard time right now. oh well, life goes on. so please if you are going to call me a scumbag, make sure you read my entire post.

ummmm, i said rix was a scum. and i was actually very glad that zook won that game at doak. like i told you earlier, i dont' hate the gators, just don't like steve. i always felt bad for zook. he was a good coach, he just had the misfortune to not have been steve spurrier. i always thought he got a raw deal. and you can't blame fsu for that call, the officials were to blame for not calling it. i want to see my noles win, but i want to see a good game. it was a horrible call, i admit it.

how did rix's last pass against florida go?LOL, 2004 senior day,the naming of ron zook field.haha karma hurts huh scumbag?This game was such a bias disgrace for fsu,that instant replay was brought about because of this sham of a game.
