If you were a racist kid, you could've picked out all of the O's and had a bowl full of KKK's.

@RetroGoop Ehh, whatever the editor of some TV station felt like that day (or a private collection, whatever).

Weird, indeed, 'Retro'...Kellogg's never sponsored "THE FLINTSTONES" (R.J. Reynolds [Winston] and Miles Laboratories [One-a-Day, Alka-Seltzer] sustained the show during its first two seasons).

Yogi Bear and Kellogg's were associated with each other for many years (they sponsored "HUCKLEBERRY HOUND", in which Yogi first apeared on, in syndication from 1958 through '66- and Yogi's own syndicated series, from 1961 through '66). Yogi was chosen to replace "Big Otis" [the original icon] on boxes of Kellogg's 'OKs' in 1960...this commercial was first seen that year on "HUCKLEBERRY HOUND", and "DENNIS THE MENACE" {Kellogg's also sponsored that on CBS' Sunday night schedule as well}.
Despite Yogi's "integrated" commercials for 'OK's' [and his face on the box], Kellogg's version of "Cheerios" wasn't successful, and disappeared from grocers' shelves a few years later. I don't know why a clip from "THE FLINTSTONES" episode "The Swimming Pool" (from the same year) was added at the end, but that was originally shown in black and white [like Huck's and Yogi's shows]- color prints weren't seen until 1966.

@fromthesidelines I had a partial FLINTSTONES episode on 35mm and this was spliced where a commercial would go.. weird huh?
