  • I love that speech, and is why mitt has my vote ^^

  • Mitt Romney has integrity, strength of character, and extraordinary managerial skills, built on a solid foundation of family and faith.

These qualities will enable him to propel this nation, The United States of America to new heights!!

    Romney for President in '08.

I'm Michael and I approve this message.

  • Is he just going to ignore the signifigant minority of americans that are atheists or agnostics? Or the minority that agree america was not founded on any religion, and that "in god we trust" and "one nation under god" are unconstitutional and unnecessary? "Our particular principles of religion are a subject of accountability to our God alone", Thomas Jefferson.

  • "I have many friends that are LDS and the values that I have as a Christian are exactly the values that they are living in their lives...Presbyterians, Methodists, Catholics and LDS it's like there's more that they agree on and so many things that would unite them and it seems like we are looking for disctinctions to tear each other apart." -Mike Hannity

  • "[Mitt Romney] will take care to separate the affairs of govenment from any religion, but [he] will not separate us from the God who gave us liberty."

Well then you don't respect the first ammendment which states clearly "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion..." The separation clause goes both ways. If it is not understood why this is important, then you are not fit to be the leader of this country.

  • the definition of faith is that you believe something that you cannot prove, and there is nothing great about that... and no, this crazy person will not get my vote

  • @8data ...worship a coke bottle if they wanted to. It calls for the greatest action for the greatest good, not just for America but as a beacon of hope for the world. Bigger than the petty things people are fighting about whether prayer in school or the pledge of allegiance is stepping on someone's toes. Those are petty things when a greater grander idea of what this country was founded to be are loosing footing in the hearts of this people.

  • @8data Dude data you couldn't have the lined more blurred. These comments are right on and echo those resounding refrains from speeches like Gettysburg or Kennedy. Speeches and men that called on Americans to show the greatness of humanity, which is why this country was established. This speech and great ones before it call upon us to change from the direction we are going and return to the right way. It's so much greater than an individual's rights to speak out or worship a celebrity or ...

  • @frellthat Outgrowing religion? Ha ha ha yeah that'll happen. To quote a wise man, "Men do not believe in God because they have proved him, rather they try endlessly to prove him because they can't help believing in him... He has established that in the hearts of His children." Good luck fighting nature, the nature of mankind.
