I, personally, would like to know how you made that door. I haven't seen that type of a piston door before.

have you ever heard of a bud switch?

You could also hook the pressure plate up to a pulse limiter, and have the tracks that carry the cart up be moved to start in front of the piston. Then, stepping on the plate will make the cart drop down in front of the plate and then immediately be pushed onto the tracks that carry it back up :D This saves space so that you don't have to dig underground.

@johnnydean01 You can easily make a tunnel to where the Minecart drops off, and manually pick it up, or have a water stream.
