The hardest boss of the challenge finally beats the dust! Not to forget the way down here is pretty hard and that alone took hours. Barubary actually fell 4th try.

Before the actual encounter I show stats and equipment used for this fight, which was sped up to stay within YouTubes 11 minute limit. The actual fights (both parts) are uncut.

Beating this monster is rather hard. We need Katt to use a Biscuit before anything happens, else his melee attack is deadly to all. To manage this, Katt needs all the speed boosting equip we got. With Biscuits Def.Up X, we are on the safe side, more or less. Ryu uses G.Dragon every possible turn, Spar and Rand both are slower then him unless Ryu equips himself with LifeAR and KingOfDR, which puts him last. This is done at end of first battle to make sure MoonDrop gets off and we start the 2nd battle fully healed. MP restoring is done by Rand, while I have Spar use the MoonDrop.

When Katt has nothing to do, she uses Pan Pizza, trying to inflict Power down to Barubary. The turns Ryu uses WiseBL on himself (forced in first turn of 2nd round, but may occur when Rand dies and Ryu not), you can have Spar use Power Down and Rand do the MoonDrop for one more of this effects.

The strange thing is: It didn't seem Power Down worked any time, yet Barubarys melee attack did horribly low damage once. The same thing happened in MoogleBoss fight. It must be Barubary-specific though, as in other fights Pan Pizza works without a "Failed"-message (see Paladin video). By the way, yes we can survive his attacks without Power Down at start, but Barubary gains a ATK boost below 1000 HP. This sayd, his melee attack will be a 1-hit-kill for everyone near the end if not afflicted. Of course one can still win if he decides to breath, but using Power Down every spare turn highly raises our chance for winning. Now what is even more weird is that both in this video and in MoogleBoss one, Barubary never used his melee attack at Low ATK more then once, but instead goes over to Breath casting, which is actually great as predictable and not lethal. I don't know if this is his AI or simply some sort of luck.

Now, for the last few turns, this did great. Rand basically cannot die (max damage a breath can do is 103) and as I simply don't heal the other guys, they are toast (unless they get up with guts - the only possibility for a reset at that point).

All in all, this fight did go as perfect as possible. A very well show-off of what is possible in a low level game. My other Barubary video is way more epic, though, as luck playd a much bigger role. Cannot make cool videos all the time I guess.
