Removing the Shortcut Icon Arrows.

Note : Please note that in some cases deactivating the arrow for *.LNK files might lead to duplicate items in the Explorer context menu, as in essence, removing the IsShortcut effectively forces Windows to treat the shortcut as real hard file. In Windows 7, it may also cause error such as unable to pin shortcut to Taskbar or Start Menu. To avoid these issue, use another workaround to remove shortcut arrow.

mine is Ink, but when i click on it the only thing that pops up is (Default) and thats it :(

might it be because im using xp?

@SuperBMX3000 i think that there's some kind of freeware that does the same thing but does it differently.. idk tho, just google for a program that does it for you.

@fwniie Just create the registry entry again. All you did in the first place was delete it, so creating it again should get everything back to normal.
