Miss Murder Cover

I'd just put new strings on my guitar which were some off-brand because it was a buy 1 get 1 free deal, and they sucked, so excuse some of the screw-ups. I'm no Jade Puget, but I think I've got the idea.

And contrary to popular belief, I'm not actually using my thumb to fret notes. It's either just the way I hold the neck, or at some points, I use my thumb to dampen the lower strings.

I've gotten a lot of questions as to what stuff I'm using. It's definitely nothing special, but here it is:

I just leave my amp on a clean channel, but I use a distortion pedal for the sound. The pedal I used in this video is "Uber Metal" by Line 6. GREAT distortion pedal. I think for this song, it sounds a bit TOO distorted though.

Nice playing. The biggest mistake I noticed was the interlude. After the part where you do palm-muting on the 7th fret and such, it should go A5-G-E. Also, at the bridge, turn your volume up. Nice effects but the volume really needs to be turned up, correct playing on it though.

I think it would sound better with less distortion. Also if you want to play the second verse faster, try holding the pick at an angle and don't try to hit the notes really hard. Other than that good job :)
