@Aheegirl horses are skittish naturally. It's just part of their nature.
Even show jumping horses will sometimes freak out about a jump they've already done countless times before.

@engineheadsd70 because it can take hours and hours just to create one scene. It used to take a whole animation crew MONTHS just to create one episode by hand. That's why there is so much junk animation and digital animation nowadays. Producers try to spend as little time and energy on a project as possible or they'll end up losing money.
Did you see how very detailed those watercolor backgrounds are? That took alot of talent, time, and patience.

Bel Bel was very old when she had Thowra, (Thowra was the only cream foal she had) and Thowras father Yarraman was killed by the Brolga, Bel Bel probably died of old age in the Brolgas herd, as it was in the book,,,
