@DJas118 I agree. I don't think Willie was meant to be as interesting as John Karlen made him. I always felt sorry for him, being the slave of Barnabus...and he didn't have any friends or family. I wonder if they were going to kill him off, but decided to keep him because they liked how John Karlen played him.

I love it, is there a love button here? No? Dang! Love it!! Are you sure you don't want to do another? :-) I was so in love with Willie when I was a kid seeing Dark Shadows for the first time.

This video is runner up to the best Dark Shadows vid based on superb editing, fitting excellent choice of song, and a story line created almost out of thin air. Willie was never highlighted in the series but this video really brings him out. The best? Maybe by WidowsWail, Dark Shadows: Barnabas Maggie and Willie. But this one is so creative, based on original story. It is really worth watching--a lot. I star my You Tubing with this.
great video of 2 favorites.never cared as much when they werent in the episodes. the pic at 0:56 0:57 is that from the series or the movies? i dont remember any dinner table scene.

@hauseriv That was during a dream sequence. I thought it looked sexy. ;) I don't know how much of DS you've seen, but there was a part where Willie hid her in the Mausoleum for a time to keep her away from Barnabas. He was always saving her, wasn't he? :) At one point, Maggie started to regain her memories and that was a part of the dream. I don't recall what they were saying, but it appeared he was setting the table for her to dine with Barnabas. Thanks, btw!! <3 <3

I love this video. Willie was such a great character...and still is. I wish he'd found happiness on the show.

@major7depp7fan That's how I felt. It always seemed to me that the writers didn't have enough respect for Willie as a person. He wasn't meant to be well-rounded (imo). I think he basically had a purpose and was written into the story to be Barnabas' lackey or "ghoul". lol. But John Karlen gave him a personality that was endearing. I felt really sorry for him and it especially touched my heart when he put his life on the line for Maggie. Yeah, they should have given him a proper ending. :(
