Ever Since Microsoft announced Metro UI and that it was the new start menu, people have hated it. If you're one of the many people that want the old start menu back, this video is for you. You will get the old taskbar as well as the start menu you know and love.
It's a simple Registry hack that is super easy to do. It will literly take you a matter of seconds. First hover over the start menu and then click on search. Click on apps and type "regedit" then launch regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RPEnabled and then double click on RPEnabled. Change the value data to 0. Hit okay and then the next time you logon you will have the Windows 7 Start menu.
NOTE That this feature might be removed with a future release of windows 8. If it does get outdated I will have an anotation linking to a new method of getting the old start menu back (yes there will be a way).

@MrNh97 That is a rather misinformed statement. Yes the user experience is that of windows 7. Yes it ain't got no fancy tiles and whatever. The kernel and everything under the hood of the OS will be windows 8 still.

MS may not remove it, they may reorganize it. to make it harder to find.

Try having 100 apps or more in the metro UI, what a freaky mess, for this reason alone windows 8 fails

@MrNh97 some pc's wont be able to run it, but it also removes the ribbon UI in windows explorer and the nice new task manger :(
