Peter James - Wind Me Up and Let Me Go [1963]

Another ballad by the mysterious Peter James, who some serious music collectors believe was PJ Proby. Released in 1963 on the Liberty label "Wind Me Up and Let Me Go" is the flip side of "Feelings". Written by Bob Montgomery, arranged and conducted by Ernie Freeman, and produced by Snuff Garrett. Cliff Richard recorded this song in 1965 under the title "Wind Me Up (Let Me Go)" and it reached #2 on the British charts.

I found that "You Tube Knockers" thread. Good lord, the Australians on that PJ Proby forum may tell it like it is (or maybe the way they think it is) but I doubt if Nicole Kidman or the Bee Gees talk that way! People sure don't where I come from!!!

I see the thread is still on Proby's Aussie Delphi Forum. Is he afraid to ask her to remove it? A stage actor friend of mine saw it and described that discussion as "filth, nothing but filth". He could not believe P.J. PROBY would let his name be associated with that forum.

So, if it stays there it serves a purpose. The world can find out just how crass and ill-bred Proby and his groupies really are.

And P.J. Proby had the unmitigated gall to call Elvis Presley "ignorant"!

The "You Tube Knockers" thread that has been there since June. Surely Proby doesn't want something like that on the internet for the world to read. If he doesn't object to it being there then I guess it tells a lot about him.

I have said plenty of nice things about P.J. Proby all over youtube. Where have you been? Go read the comments on all the Proby videos. He is my favorite singer. If you mean I'm supposed to say something nice about him as a person...no can do. But you won't find anything anywhere that I have said that he or his staff didn't instigate. By the way, somebody needs to get that garbage off the Aussie Delphi forum. It looks very bad for Proby and the people who posted it.
