@lowew79 My suggestion is to seek out local model railroaders in your area and perhaps a local NMRA (National Model Railroad Association) division in your area. There are many model railroaders that would be glad to share their knowledge with you. In Wisconsin we have two HUGE model railroad shows every year. One is in November and one is in February. Other areas also have shows. Watch for announcements in model railroad magazines.
Rwundrock~~excellent job and compliments on your layout; especially your trackplan. (Is it available online?) Operation is such an enjoyable aspect of this hobby. So many modelers that leave the hobby would likely get a lot more satisfaction out of it if they would only try operations. BTW: Are you a member of Kalmbach's Model Railroader Forum?
The drawings I have posted for locations around the layout were originally drawn in 1996 using Microsoft Word. I continue to use Word to update them.
Oh man, I know this is an old video, but I would love to come visit and learn from you and your layout! Thank you so much for the video

I don't have a trackplan posted yet.
I am aware of the Kalmbach forum but do not contribute to it.

Thats a cool layout. How did you make the
drawing for the yard? How long do a avarage opps session take?

My ops sessions last 3 to 3-1/2 hours.
