Yeah, I edited these segments together so that when things went wrong, you don't have to watch any of that. I didn't want the video to be full of hours of wasted time. I did it to serve as a guide on how to find all the money in the game.

One question - Except for blue ghosts and cheese pieces, can you find all coins/bills/bars in bright rooms or are there also coins/... that are not anymore accessible after having cleared the room?

I'm almost certain that you can get everything after the lights are turned on, with the exception of blue ghosts and mice (as you mentioned) The random mice only appear when the area is dark so it's important to not light up the room before you get the random mice as well as the cheese ones. The reason I usually don't wait to light up the room before collecting coins and bills is because you might accidentally open up a chest/drawer or activate a chandelier while fighting ghosts an miss stuff.

When there is money in an object you don't always get it the first time you shake or vacuum that area. However, if you leave 2 doors and then come back you will have another chance to get it.
