Ari Aster...Ari Filmaster! I hope to see more things from you. I wish I could say this was not TOTALLY believable. It so is. This film pulled no punches. This is the film the movie Precious tried to be. I honestly am left open and raw. Mother- complicit for ignoring all those years. Son- un-diagnosed and so untreated psycho/socio-path. Father- I am not sympathetic toward him as a victim. I am angry and hurt by all three of the Johnsons. Part II- daughter in law finds and publishes Cocoon Man.

I dun know why the dad allowed it to happen when the son was younger, maybe cuz his son threatened to say hes the one that violated him, or cuz he wanted to protect his son. Now that hes older do, that dad lets it happen out of pure fear, and also guilt. Its basic victim psychology. And the mom is just scared, duznt know wut to do, and duznt want to get involved.

The father is allowing it to happen,and in his mind,powerless to do anything,because if he told the police.They would squirt coffee out of their nose with laughter,and look at it like it's a prank call.Not to mention on two different occasions.The mother ignores it until after the father died.Now watch it again unless you are too stupid to comprehend.
