Haier HLP21N 1cu ft compact washer

I have been using this little compact clothes washer for a few weeks now, and it is really useful. Some friends have asked about it so I thought I'd make a short video of it in use.

I mainly use it to wash small things, like the towels I use for housework, and also the small donut shaped cat beds, which fit in it. This washer is also perfect for items I need to wash on the gentle cycle.

Do you have to turn the water off and on during the cycle?

@SBaranowski No, you don't need to, but in my case the hose connector dribbles a little bit under pressure. I wrap a small towel around it where it connects to the washer so it doesn't leave a puddle on the floor. I've read that this is a common problem because the hose connectors are on the cheap side. YMMV.

@gclaudia1 I'm glad I bought this washer. It's small but works well. It's nice not having to spend time money at the laundromat when I need to just wash a couple of items.

Can you get longer tubs so you don't have to move the unit?

is there a compact top loader that's 11-12lbs and not a Kenmore or Avanti, preferably european brand?
