Check Monday's Patriot Ledger for more photos and coverage of the ferret frolic. More than 70 ferrets frolicked Saturday at the Fellowship, Food and Fun Day held to benefit the South Shore Care Shelter in Holbrook. The afternoon featured a blessing of the ferrets, a ferret playground, ferret belly dancing, a memorial wall and food. To join in the fun, ferrets had to show proof of vaccination.
The proceeds will support the shelter, which rescues ferrets that too old or too sick to be adopted or are abused or abandoned.

The events proceeds will benefit the shelter.

  • OMG they are SO CUTE!!!!! I miss my ferrets. I used to have seven of those little carpet sharks. My last one passed away 2 yrs ago. They are the sweetest pets in the world. Not for everyone due to them needing a different kind of care than your typical family pet. Life with a ferret is an experience!!! I have never met a more nosey animal and I wouldn't have traded my time with them for anything in this world. Ferrets ROCK!!!!!!

  • I WANT SOME! But sadly they are not legal here in California

Great efforts & KUDOS to you all!
