  • I love the 9-9-9 plan! What a genius! Lets see...with your new 9% added to your existing sales tax in some states you will be paying close to 20% on almost everything you buy! How do you think that will feel when you go to check out? And don't forget to add that 9% more to your gas. So lets say you go buy yourself a new 55" TV at Best Buy in Arizona. The tax alone on $1500 will be $294 making it $1794! Welcome to Europe folks! In Germany there is a 19% tax on all good plus your income tax.

  • @m530bc he's not getting rid of anything, he's giving a prebate to lower income families, those who work will still pay 9%

and please try to have a mature conversation without writing nonsense insults...

  • @globe199 At the last debate he said he wanted to get rid of the current tax system. He did not state that before.

It took 4 weeks for him & his team to figure out why his plan was being critized.

Voting Rep-Bull-Krapi-Con$ is a YES vote for China.

  • @m530bc He said he will replace the other taxes: personal income, death tax, corporate, capital gains, payroll, etc... so i wish i understood where you got your 9.99 state tax in addition to his national sales tax..... God does anybody listen these days?

  • The man is a fool

  • Im in Calif and 9.99% Fed sales tax + 9.25% State Ca Sales tax = 19.24% Sales tax!!

Good Luck with that idea! Herman Cain = LOOSER

  • Is the 9% federal sales tax in addition to the already implemented individual states sales taxes or does he want to take away the states right to tax? I don't understand, either way does not sound good at all, over here in CA, we pay an 8% state sales tax, would that go up to 17%? Or would it just go up to 9%? And CA would not receive that money anymore?

  • 999 upside down spells out where we are now. Herman Cain will put it right. Down with opressive taxes!
