I love better world books. For an international buyer the shipping is so much cheaper than Amazon. I shopped with Amazon for over 8 years and brought hundreds of books off them. Once I found out they were selling books on how to molest children then I closed my account. Not once in 8 years of buying off Amazon did I get a discount voucher. Better World Books has given me discount vouchers as a thanks for my business. I now recommend better world books to all my family and friends.
It's a shame that libraries are getting taken advantage of by BWB. If libraries were smarter, they would contact small independent bookstores like Academic Scholarly Books in Bloomington Indiana where they would pay libraries much more than what BWB pays.
I'm from Florida and I try to buy textbooks from them as much as possible. It's not hard because I just look for the cheapest ones I can find and BWB is either the cheapest or they don't have the book in stock. My campus has a donation bin for them, and I always encourage people to donate and buy from them because our campus Barnes&Noble is just sucking the life out of everyone, and we need more businesses like BWB.
I'm from Brazil and I buy from BWB all the time too. I've spread the word to colleagues and students so everyone can profit, the literate and those striving to achieve literacy. Great job, BWB!!!
I`m glad that Better World Books makes it affordable for customers overseas to buy books! I`m from Brazil and I buy them all the time for only 3.97 shipping!
I live in Australia and I buy from Betterworld all the time. I don't mind buying 2nd hand books (they are so cheap) and the postage charge is much, much cheaper than Amazon. I don't buy from them ever anymore!. $3.97 for overseas shipping is an absolute bargain, and I get them in about 2 weeks which is reasonable.
i have been buying for a good while now...i live in korea so they are a godsend..3.48 cents postage...otherwise i just couldnt afford books..i go there first...and often...it feels good that the money goes to a good cause...win win

I'm in Australia and I got a bargain on books that I couldn't find anywhere else. I hope more businesses could start or change to become like this.
