In the aftermath of World War Two many Koreans were in Japan. Prior to the war the Korean peninsula was administered by Japan. These Koreans in Japan after the war selected three routes: some went back to Korean, while the others stayed in Japan. Out of this group split, those who selected Japanese nationality, and those who maintained their Korean nationality while remaining in Japan. Of these Koreans in Japan, a large number maintain loyalty to North Korea, Communist North, the Hermit Kingdom under the thumb of Kim il-Sung and now under the lunatic Kim Jong-il in the head, Dear Leader.

These North Korean loyalists established General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, who created North Korean schools called Chongryon in Japan. Currently there are about 15,000 students. They are taught a pro-North Korean ideology and allegiance Kim il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il. Photographs of these two nuts hand respectfully in front of each classroom in these commie schools located in Japan.

The schools requested from Tokyo public funding. The request was denied per Japan's Constitution, Article 89, which prohibits public funds to schools not under public control.
Local governments get around this by paying money directly to the parents of the students.

The nonsense does not stop there: Japanese students at Waseda University (a prestigious university in Tokyo) their dormitories are located about a one-hour subway ride from the university. While students from North Korea or China, their dormitories are located about five minutes from the university.

Much like in the USA where illegal students are giving economic preference over American citizen students. Both the USA and Japan seriously being afflicted by liberals.

  • It's nice to see some of my fellow Americans who have a deep knowledge of the outside world. I wholly agree with you and Japan should kick these people back to North Korea. I love Japan and lived there for many years but I just agree that they are too tolerant of this group - the Chongyang

  • old people love them some 'culture'

  • @90hir the modern liberal contradicts the very term. Because where you are supposed to defend rights , Liberals try this in effect by taking rights away from somewhere else. They want to give, but at whose cost? You cant pull shit up out of nowhere. In effect you would have to take something to change something on the other side. in effect.

  • @theking1175 Somebody is pms'ing .

  • I stopped watching at "liberalism is a mental disorder."

Ignorance doesn't make you look smart, asshole.

  • The reason why the Korean schools in Japan have a pro-North proclivity is because neither the Japanese - because these schools did not follow the Japanese curriculum that will culturally assimilate these Koreans in Japan - nor the S. Koreans (so stupid) funded these schools but the N. Koreans did.

It's just a consequence of negligence of all who love freedom and democracy.

This also should make you think twice about Japan and the US being basically the same. We cherish individualism.

  • The Koreans in Japan are in Japan because they did not want to associate with either the capitalistic/democratic south NOR the communist/socialist north - the Korean identity was more important and did not want to undermine the unity of Korea by choosing sides. They also did not want to assimilate into the Japanese culture and to do so, they needed their own educational system and curriculum.

  • Here's a case of mental illness; saying the USA and it's people are the same to japan and it's people.

Besides the 2 country being a capitalistic, democracy based country and few other similarities, the two countries/people couldn't be more different.

We (USA) love individualism, they're a group thinking lemmings.

Our history is based on individualism to the extreme point the REAL Constitution (limiting gov) was made.

They believed their emperor is a god and in the caste system...........

  • These North Korean supporters are leftists, rather than liberals.

Liberals are people with progressive views, leftists are who insists on using the taxpayers' money for the sake of enemy countries.

  • Last thing...."The enemy of my enemy is my friend." This is the game that the Japanese have played for too long. They don't know reality....they don't know who their friends are. They are lost.
